June 2007

Welcome to a preview of the articles in the June edition of the Content Club.

First we have our regular gardening feature. This month it covers which plants to use in those tricky areas of damp shade and dry shade. Use this to attract garden centres, plant nurseries, specialist plant centres and gardeners. Don't forget to think laterally though. You can approach shed suppliers; DIY and gardening stores; garden designers; lawn mower suppliers; odd job men and even book shops, especially if they're having a push on gardening books which many do at this time of year. Because this is a regular feature it is good for selling three and six month packages.

Now the holiday season is upon us, everyone wants to look their best on the beach so this next article is all about losing 10lbs before you hit the beach. Obviously this is a good one to attract Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Diet X, Rosemary Conley classes...etc. Don't forget those local independent weight loss groups, gyms, exercise classes and nutritionists. Because it's talking about holidays you could also try local travel agents and beachwear suppliers (don't forget any factory shops near you).

Finally try book shops because there is a little feature about which diet programmes are successful and most of them have a book attached, e.g. The Atkins Diet

Beach Babe or Beached Whale

When we depart for a holiday we do tend to worry a bit more about home security so the third article discusses ways to improve this before you go. It covers the big security improvements you can make, like installing a burglar alarm, but also those little things we can do to discourage burglars such as using timer switches and hiding ladders. Think about targeting burglar alarm companies, home security companies, DIY stores, electricians, handymen, and locksmiths.

Beat the Burglar

The final article covers what to do with the family dog while you're away on holiday. It discusses how to choose the right boarding kennels and also the more unusual options of pet sitters or using a host family. It targets boarding kennels, pet sitters e.g. PetPals and host families but can also be used to attract, dog training clubs, pet shops, vets, dog grooming services and dog walking services.

If you have any ideas for article topics which you'd like to see covered in future months please let me know.

I wish you all a prosperous and sunny June,

Kind regards,
